EROWA positioning system can significantly reduce the pre-adjustment time. EROWA's ITS chuck operates on a principle that is as simple as it is ingenious. lt holds both tools and workpieces with equal precision and with a high degree of repeatability. lts applications are so numerous that it forms the basis for a well thought-out modular tooling system. The system only needs to take 10 seconds to position workpiece on machine center in EDM, CNC or WEDM process. Only one adjustment is required, and subsequent workpiece centering operation and calibration is not necessary, eliminating the need for repeated calibration during processing, reducing downtime and greatly improving production efficiency. This quick-change system is also suitable for a various of workpieces and workpieces with special shapes. The repeatability can reach ±0.002mm, and the clamping time is saved by 90%. It is a good choice for efficiency and speed.
Osranton ITS Chuck 100 P with CNC Base Plate is a basic chuck which compatible with ER-037970 mounting on a base plate with 2 conterbore for M10 fitting screws. The chuck is driven by compressed air, 6 ± 1 bar air pressure is required. Clamping power is up to 10000N. There are 2 air lines in base plate, one is for open/close, the other one is for cleaning/presence check for need of automation.
